Traditional PEO

  • A traditional PEO is responsible for Employer of Record. Under the PEO’s FEIN employee taxes are reported and deposited.
  • Under the PEO’s master policy coverage is provided for worker’s compensation insurance.
  • The PEO provides safety and risk management claims. The PEO also handles the compliance administration for safety programs.
  • Health plans are covered under the PEO’s master policy.
  • Under the PEO’s master policy supplemental benefits are offered to employees while 401K is provided by policy in the your company’s name.
  • There are several human resources services that you may choose individually or bundled.
  • State and federal compliance is handled by the PEO.

ASO

  • Your company is the employer of record and is responsible for reporting and depositing employee taxes under your company’s FEIN.
